Nice big rooms. AC blew ice cold. Pet friendly. And a good price.
Our room had a weird smell when we turned on our AC. We realized the chairs smelled weird and the AC was blowing that smell everywhere. So move your chairs elsewhere if a funky smell in your room. Beds also weren't comfortable. Breakfast was good though, they have a Texas shaped waffle machine.
Nice quiet place, clean room's good service
Our family had to stop for the night after another hotel down the road cancelled our reservation. While other hotels at Shamrock were full, this one wasn't. The night clerk was very friendly and didn't mind that I was checking in so late (1am). The faucets in the bathroom need a little upgrading. Other than thay, this was perfect for the sleep hours that we needed. The beds were the most comfortable that I have slept on!! And the breakfast was great! My daughter especially liked the Texas-shaped Waffle Maker.
It is an old RT66 motor court brought up to date.Got a good nights rest .I would stay agsin.
